The 4th of July can be a scary holiday for many dogs, and that includes two of my personal dogs. To help my personal and client dogs I am doing a special pack walk the morning of the 4th. The goal is to help relax the dogs by providing mental and physical stimulation that morning. The walk is free to attend.

We will be walking from William B. Pond to River Bend Park and back. The walk will include obedience with distractions, recall work, startle recovery, loose leash walking, and play in the river.

We are meeting at the Cottonwood Picnic Area in William B. Pond, and parking is $5. The walk will go from 8:00am and should be done around 10:00am.

Please remember to bring plenty of water for you and your dog and training treats. We will be going to the river so bring a long line and possibly a toy if you are planning on allowing your dog to swim. I look forward to seeing you out there.
